For new home construction, we offer a
complete pre-hung door unit.
Everything is pre-hung in our shop. Our door units
feature solid wood jambs, ball bearing upgraded hinges,
fully weatherstripped with compression-style Q-Lon compression weatherstripping,
and upgraded thresholds.
We new home construction projects we
provide a temporary construction door frame that is the same
size as the actual door unit so that it can be installed
first. This way, any exterior work like brick or
siding can proceed without fear of harming the real door
unit. Towards the end construction, the temporary
frame can be removed and the real door frame installed.
We your home an entire new look.
I'm always amazed at how many lovely homes have ugly metal
or fiberglass doors that ruin the entire look. We
simply make new door unit the same size as your old door
unit. This way, it looks like your home was built that
way. Since we pre-hang the door units to fit, this is
not a problem.
If you have a single door with sidelites
and always wanted double doors, we can make this happen by
making the size work-out.
We can install the new door unit, or have
it ready for your contractor or installer. Why is this
important? Because if you go to a big-box retailer and
get something off the rack, it's not made for your home and
the size if probably different.

It's hard to give one set price, because
it depends whether we're pre-hanging a door system for new
home construction or installing it into an existing home.
However, all of our layouts that we prepare for customers contain
prices. If we're installing it, the price includes
installation. If we're simply delivering a door unit
for your installation, then the price includes delivery or
shipping.
In the past we participated in Home Shows.
Frankly now in today's digital age it's easier to work on the computer and
email builders and homeowners directly with personal
drawings and ideas, then go to their home or jobsite and
meet with them.
And, in this digital age, some customers
will shop prices with our drawing and work. Their loss
if they buy somewhere else - they get that cheap price
they paid for.
Word of mouth for us is the best
advertising.
Our Beveled Series panels are available in
either clear beveled glass or beveled glue-chip glass for
privacy. Beveled Glue-Chip glass is best described as
a surface that looks like ice on a morning window, yet with
a clear beveled edge.
Our Expo Series features glass
specifically with privacy in mind, combining beveled,
beveled glue-chip, and textured glass for a beautiful
combination that affords privacy.
No - you can get those at so many big-box
retailers. Ours are indeed the much more
expensive ones that make you say OMG, where did that come
from.... it's gorgeous.
Our focus is door units and entryways.
We can always recommend glass artists for stained or leaded
glass.
We have shipped our door units all over the
country. We expertly package and crate your order
which is shipped fully insured.

Our installers can deal with any hidden or unexpected
problem to insure that your door works as beautifully as it
looks.
We install all door hardware as necessary,
including any throw-bolts for double doors.
No job is the same, and it's nice to have
the experience to draw on - even for new home construction
projects.
All insulated glass is Double or
Triple-Glazed. Our French TDL series is double-glazed
- both pieces of glass in the IG unit are tempered safety
glass.
In the Beveled glass and Expo series
panels are triple glazed - which means that the decorative
glass panel is sealed between tempered safety glass on each
side.
Our glass is all double or triple-glazed insulated
glass units.
For extreme exposures and conditions, we
offer Low-E reflective glass.
Our door units all use special threshold systems for air-tight seals.
The jamb systems feature a built-in compression Q-Lon weatherstripping for air-tight seals.
Our doors come un-finished. We
pre-seal tops of doors and jambs.
We have found that it is always best to
have something installed and then sanded for any scratches
or marks, and the prepped for staining or painting.
Invariably something always seems to get a minor scratch
during installation, and then if it was pre-finished that
minor scratch looks touched-up.
We
provide wood samples to so that you can make sure the color
is exactly what may match your brick or siding. We
also provide finishing instructions.
